Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the high availability, performance, and security of critical manufacturing IT systems and infrastructure.
• Administer and maintain server hardware, virtual environments, network devices, and storage solutions within production facilities.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect manufacturing data, intellectual property, and operational technology (OT) systems.
• Provide timely technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues impacting production lines and factory personnel.
• Develop, test, and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery strategies for all essential IT systems supporting manufacturing operations.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime and optimize efficiency.
• Manage and deploy endpoint devices, including industrial PCs, human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and specialized manufacturing equipment integrations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing and troubleshooting Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP) and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, VPNs) and cybersecurity principles, especially within IT/OT converged environments.
• Direct experience supporting manufacturing-specific systems such as SCADA, MES, or PLC connectivity.
• Proficiency in implementing and maintaining backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for complex hardware/software issues and experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for automation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or SCADA platforms.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA) or OT/ICS cybersecurity principles.
• Basic understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and their IT integration points.
• Experience supporting ERP systems with integrated manufacturing modules (e.g., SAP PP, Oracle Manufacturing).
