Location: Warren, MI | Per Diem, As-Needed

Supporting students one-on-one in dynamic classroom environments, this role is well suited for compassionate professionals dedicated to making a meaningful impact within schools. These per diem positions offer flexible scheduling based on school coverage needs and provide an opportunity to contribute directly to student success in academic, behavioral, and social areas.

Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom settings
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance under the direction of teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom transitions, and active participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test as required by school policies
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT considered a plus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative mindset
