Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Intake Therapist to join a Behavioral Health Urgent Care program. This role provides front line behavioral health assessments and service coordination for individuals seeking urgent mental health support. Services are delivered in an office setting on a walk in or scheduled basis. Flexible part time hours are available, and full time opportunities may be considered based on program needs.
Hours of Operation
• Monday through Thursday 4:00 pm to 12:00 am
• Friday 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm
• Some Saturday hours between 9:00 am to 2:00 pm may be required
Key Responsibilities
• Complete behavioral health intake assessments and required documentation in a timely manner
• Collect and synthesize information from consumers, families, and collateral sources
• Use motivational interviewing and person centered techniques to assess needs and readiness
• Develop safety plans and coordinate referrals for additional evaluations or services
• Educate consumers and families on available programs and support options
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Participate in supervision, case consultation, and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Maintain professional licensure, training, and ethical standards
Travel
• Mileage reimbursement provided when using a personal vehicle at the IRS standard rate of 0.70 per mile
