Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Dayton, OH 45409 (Ohio healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel healthcare contract)
• Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Level 3 Cath Lab)
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2750 - $2820
• Call Requirements: 1 mandatory call shift per week and every fourth weekend (weekend call from 07:00 Saturday to 07:00 Monday)
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• End Date: November 24, 2025

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist in a cardiac cath lab
• Preferred experience with electrophysiology (EP), EPIC, and MacLab systems
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• Active Ohio Radiology Technologist license (required for Ohio radiology jobs)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced cardiac catheterization, peripheral angiography, electrophysiologic studies, and interventional procedures
• Assist with cardiac device implantation, including pacemakers, ICDs, and ablations
• Deliver peri-procedural care and patient education
• Support cardiologists and clinical specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all cardiac cath lab procedures
• Participate in call rotation as required
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing healthcare team in a busy cath lab setting
