Electrical Assembly, Circuit Card Assembly (1st Shift)

The Opportunity:
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for Electrical Assembly. This position is responsible for the assembly of complex circuit card assembly.
Additionally, Electrical Assembly will:
- Fabricate electrical and/or mechanical assemblies
- Follow manufacturing planning for instructions and inspection requirements per IPC standards.
- Perform in process electrical tests consistent with an FTP document.
- Verify dimensions and or performance using standard measuring instruments
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing planning instructions
- Experience with Circuit Card Assemblies preferred
- Certification to IPC-7711/7721, J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience with automated SMT and through hole CCA equipment
- 1-2 years in using precision tools, fixture and measuring equipment
- Ability to read and assemble parts from manufacturing planning instructions
- Ability to perform detailed work requiring fine motor skills
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds from floor to height of 25 inches, capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, have a grip strength of at least 50 pounds and be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum).
- Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
