The Superintendent/PM is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of on-site construction activities for industrial projects. This leadership role involves managing construction teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning:
    1. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
    2. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and success criteria.
  2. Resource Management:
    1. Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
    2. Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  3. Budget and Cost Control:
    1. Create and manage project budgets, monitor, and control project costs.
    2. Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage change orders as necessary.
  4. Scheduling and Timeline Management:
    1. Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
    2. Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed
  5. Safety and Compliance:
    1. Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
    2. Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
    3. Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and permits.
  6. Quality Control:
    1. Maintain high-quality standards by inspecting work in progress and completed projects.
    2. Address and resolve any construction-related issues, defects, or discrepancies.
    3. Ensure that construction work meets or exceeds quality expectations.
  7. Materials and Equipment:
    1. Coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment.
    2. Manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary resources.
    3. Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of construction equipment.
  8. Budget and Cost Management:
    1. Monitor project budgets and control expenses to meet financial objectives.
    2. Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices.
    3. Report on cost performance and recommend cost-saving measures.
  9. Client Relations:
    1. Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders on-site.
    2. Provide regular project updates and address client inquiries and concerns.
    3. Foster positive client relationships and enhance the company's reputation.
  10. Documentation and Reporting:
    1. Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
    2. Generate and submit project-related reports to project management.
    3. Ensure all project documentation is complete and well organized.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in industrial construction or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and project scheduling tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic construction environment.
