MIG/TIG Fabrication Welder Job Summary:

A local company that builds automated machinery for the automotive market is seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Fabricator to join their 1st shift team. All work is custom and works with heavier metals.

MIG/TIG Fabrication Welder Responsibilities:

• Setup equipment weld small and large parts using MIG, TIG and Arc welding
• Utilize fabrication equipment such as plasma cutter, cutting torch, iron workers, overhead crane, and band saws
• Read and understand blueprints to weld parts to print
• Adhere to safety requirements and maintain clean work environment.
• Must become a licensed crane operator

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st shift, 6AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday; overtime may include occasional Saturdays
• $22.00-25.00/HR, BOE

MIG/TIG Fabrication Welder Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years as MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator
• 10 years of welding
• Solid understanding of blueprints
• Ability to operate band saws and overhead crane
• Basic math and reading skills required
• HS Diploma or equivalent is required
