Purchasing Assistant
MalaceHR is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and set up equipment rentals, managing the process efficiently from start to finish.
Research pricing and obtain quotes from various vendors and suppliers.
Prepare and submit customer proposals for job approvals.
Track orders and provide updates within internal databases.
Ensure orders are processed accurately and completed on time.
Communicate effectively via phone and computer to manage ordering information.
Coordinate with technicians, manufacturers, suppliers, and customers to support seamless operations.
Manage product returns, oversee warranty processes, and verify shipping and receiving accuracy.
Collaborate with multiple departments to maintain efficient workflow and operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong data entry skills with speed and accuracy.
Excellent attention to detail, especially when working under deadlines.
Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Strong organizational and note-taking skills.
Ability to multitask and manage frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks and responsibilities.
Previous experience in sales or tooling is a plus, but not required.
