Join our client's team as an IT Technician where you'll be the first line of defense for all technology needs across their organization. This hands-on role is perfect for a tech-savvy professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and ensuring that technology works flawlessly for every user.
You'll provide comprehensive technical support ranging from help desk services to white-glove executive support, making you an essential part of their daily operations. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while developing strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
What You'll Do
Provide Expert Help Desk Support : Answer incoming calls and accurately log customer questions and issues into the ticketing system
Solve Complex Technical Problems : Troubleshoot hardware and software issues including networking (TCP/IP), Microsoft Office suite, and custom applications
Enable User Success : Assist end-users with equipment setup including desktops, projectors, video conferencing systems, and other technology
Build and Maintain Systems : Construct PCs for internal company use while creating and maintaining system images
Deliver Premium Service : Provide white-glove technical support to senior leadership with exceptional attention to detail
Repair and Maintain Equipment : Perform PC and printer repairs to keep systems running optimally
Educate and Train : Assist with technical training and user education as business needs arise
Support Special Projects : Contribute to technology initiatives and special project work across the organization
Stay Current : Keep up with technology trends and best practices to continuously improve service delivery
Provide Flexible Support : Offer after-hours support when needed (less than 10% of time)
What You Bring
Windows Expertise : 2-4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows OS and hardware troubleshooting for printers, desktops, and laptops
Office Suite Proficiency : Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Software Suite
Network Knowledge : Experience and/or training in LAN, WAN, and wireless network support
Problem-Solving Skills : Strong troubleshooting capabilities with logical, methodical approach
Service Excellence : Comfort with white-glove service delivery and attention to detail
Communication Skills : Ability to interface with users at all technical levels using clear, understandable language
Professional Qualities : Strong communication and interpersonal skills with honesty, integrity, and respect for others
Adaptability : Willingness to be flexible and open to change in a dynamic environment
Preferred Experience
Phone Systems : Phone/PBX experience is advantageous
Mobile Device Management : Airwatch/MDM experience is a plus
Industry Knowledge : Airline industry experience is beneficial
Educational Requirements
Foundation : High school graduate with some college or technical school preferred
Experience-Based : Strong technical experience can supplement formal education
Physical Requirements
Active Role : Frequently required to reach, stand, walk, talk, and use hands for various technical tasks
Mobility : Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Lifting : Must be able to occasionally lift and move more than 50 pounds
