JOB DESCRIPTION: IRONER

Position Purpose
Feed linen into ironer and catching linen.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
Maintain standard quality (no holes, tears, stains, rips, dirt, or wet/dampness of goods.)
On time to workstation.
Using spindle card to log in and out.
Keep work area clean at all times.
Communication with supervisor or lead person about any safety concerns, housekeeping, production, spindle card, quality, and equipment functionality.
Qualifications
A ‘self-starter” that can work independently.
Experience In Linen Work Preferred But Not Necessary.
Good communicator.
Must be organized.
Must be able to multi-task.
Special Position Requirements
Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Able to push clean linen carts.
Physically able to stand, bend lift, squat, and frequently stoop throughout the day.
Preferences
Linen experienced preferred.
Work Requirements
Must be able to work any shift, time, holidays, and weekends.
