Lead Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
Kid’s Court is looking for a full-time Lead Toddler Teacher! We are located in Vicksburg on Sprinkle Rd. and are open from 7am to 5:30pm. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is outgoing, a team player, nurturing, patient, and personable! Job qualifications, responsibilities, and benefits are listed below. Qualifications:

- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Must be able to kneel, lift, bend, and carry children up to 40 pounds.

- Possess a High School Diploma.

- Be able to pass a fingerprint background check.

- Obtain a negative TB test.

- Must complete health and safety state trainings prior to start date, if hired.

- Must attend training to become CPR/First-Aid Certified.

- Must have at least one year experience as a lead teacher.

- Must meet State Licensing Lead Teacher requirements. (CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field)

Responsibilities:

- Must be able to work as a team to ensure the health and safety of all children.

- Must have excellent communication skills with children, staff, and parents.

- Must be able to maintain a safe, fun, and positive learning environment for all staff and children.

- Must write, post, and follow through with weekly lesson plans and keep a consistent daily routine.

- Must be able to attend monthly staff meetings and meet state requirements of at least 24 hours of training annually.

- Complete ASQ’s for all children in the class.

- Complete ACD Food Program trainings and follow center wide menu for breakfast and snacks.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
