Rivers Bend is seeking anLPN(Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our team of innovative professionals located in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Mid-level and Experienced level LPNs are encouraged to apply and join our growing team. In this collaborative environment, you will be responsible forsupporting the prescribers and Physician in triaging medication questions from clients, increasing client understanding of prescribed medications, and recording patient vitals as indicated for program requirements.

Rivers Bend provides outpatient therapy with integrity and excellent client care. We are a growing Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use therapy practice which provides the most innovative, evidence-based outpatient behavioral healthcare to all our clients and their families. Our clinical team provides professional, comprehensive, state-of-the-art mental health and chemical dependency treatment in a respectful and dignified manner. We have an integrated electronic health record system that supports all of our clinical services and offer a hybrid model for outpatient therapy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• LPN License
• At least 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health setting
• Mid-Level or Experienced

REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITES AND COMPETENCIES:

• Answer questions for clients regarding medications and treatment recommendations
• Observing patients to assess overall wellness, address basic needs and report concerns to Physician
• Reach out to prescribers when more information is needed and to coordinate prescribers calling clients when needed
• Secure authorization for medications if needed and required by insurance companies
• Perform and collect medical vitals as required by program for appropriateness for level of care
• Provide clinical documentation in EHR upon client discharge
• Employ strong communication skills with clinical staff and client phone calls/follow up
• Work collaboratively as a team and with clinical staff and Medical Director
• Proficient with technology to include EMR, Microsoft Office, and other applicable software
• Strong attention to detail, organized and motivated.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Experience working with and assisting psychiatrists and psychiatric NP's and Physicians
• Must possess ability to utilize electronic health record system, Zoom and Microsoft Office
• Flexibility to work some evenings
• Initiative to participate in ongoing opportunities for growth and advancement in professional education/endeavors

HOURS OF OPERATION:

• Monday-Friday
• 8 Hour Shifts
• Occasionally alternating between Troy and West locations
