CMM Programmer - New Product

Position Overview
As a Metrology Engineer, youll bring your expertise in CMM programming and precision measurement to a team focused on innovation and excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Program and optimize CMM systems using Calypso to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and production needs.
- Perform dimensional inspections to validate and optimize components and assemblies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop measurement strategies and ensure quality objectives are met.
- Analyze and interpret data, creating actionable insights to support product launches.
- Troubleshoot measurement challenges and implement innovative solutions.
- Maintain and enhance metrology processes, driving efficiency and reliability.
- Oversee and maintain metrology equipment, ensuring it operates at peak performance.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on metrology best practices.
Recommended Qualifications
- Advanced experience in CMM programming, with deep proficiency in Calypso software.
- Solid understanding of GD&T, dimensional inspection, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Proven track record of supporting NPI or similar manufacturing processes.
- Skilled in using precision measurement tools and analyzing complex datasets.
- Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications in metrology, quality systems, or process improvement.
