Locums Emergency Medicine Physician
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at a hospital in Marie, MI. This facility includes 49 beds, with 9 dedicated to obstetrics, and offers comprehensive emergency care supported by a trauma team. The emergency department handles approximately 45 visits per day, providing a dynamic environment for patient care.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality emergency medical services to patients presenting with a variety of urgent and emergent conditions. Responsibilities include managing both routine emergency cases and collaborating with the trauma team as necessary. You will work 12-hour shifts, with options for either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. Accurate and thorough documentation using the Meditech EMR system is required. The position involves approximately 8 shifts per month, with a preference for a minimum 4-day stretch.
Requirements:
·Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Emergency Medicine.
·Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
·Active Michigan medical license and DEA registration, or an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Letter of Qualification.
