We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in supporting daily office operations, ensuring smooth communication, and maintaining organizational efficiency. Responsibilities:• Manage and organize office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Answer and direct incoming calls in a thorough and courteous manner.
• Perform accurate data entry tasks and maintain up-to-date records.
• Handle receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and managing correspondence.
• Process accounts payable and customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Enter and track invoices within the designated system.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to municipalities as needed.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, update, and manage spreadsheets.
• Provide general administrative support to staff and management.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative assistant or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in answering inbound calls and managing receptionist duties.
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and customer invoicing.
• Familiarity with data entry and record management.
• Background in working with municipalities is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
