Salary Range: $48,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allegan that are seeking skilled Mechanics. Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems failures.
• Repair and replace defective parts, components, and equipment using hand and power tools.
• Install, commission, and test new manufacturing equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies during all maintenance activities.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience maintaining and repairing production machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding and adherence to industrial safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC troubleshooting and basic programming experience.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Proficiency with CMMS for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
