Salary Range: $40,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Perform various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) on different materials.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components according to design specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Clean and prepare surfaces for welding.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in common welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-core)
• Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production welding environment
• AWS (American Welding Society) certification or equivalent
• Demonstrated understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality standards

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotic or automated welding systems.
• AWS D1.1, D1.2, or D1.6 certification.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
