Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded hardware and firmware for manufacturing automation and control systems.
• Integrate embedded systems with existing production machinery and IoT platforms to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement real-time control algorithms for robotic systems and automated assembly lines.
• Troubleshoot and debug embedded software and hardware issues on the factory floor, ensuring minimal production downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications for new manufacturing processes.
• Perform validation and verification of embedded systems to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Optimize embedded code and hardware designs for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in high-volume production environments.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded firmware development on microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex-M).
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and bare-metal programming.
• Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design, schematics, and hardware debugging techniques.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Modbus, EtherCAT) and sensor/actuator integration.
• Knowledge of design for testability (DFT) and manufacturing (DFM) principles for production environments.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, OPC UA)
• Familiarity with PLC programming or integration with industrial control systems
• Experience in designing or implementing automated test fixtures for production environments
• Understanding of hardware design principles and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) best practices
