We are looking for a high-caliber Accounts Payable professional to manage a robust portfolio—overseeing $80 Million in annual spend across 4,000+ vendors. Scope of Role: Precision & Partnership As our AP Coordinator, you aren’t just processing paperwork; you are the guardian of our supplier relationships and the accuracy of our financial reporting. You will ensure that every one of our 36,000 annual invoices is captured accurately, timed perfectly for cash flow, and reconciled with precision. You will act as a consultant to our Procurement team, identifying opportunities for better payment terms and maintaining rigorous controls over our corporate purchasing programs.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a high-volume accounting or AP environment (Manufacturing experience preferred).

• Technical Savvy: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access. You should be comfortable navigating ERP systems and utilizing a 10-key calculator with speed and accuracy.

• The "Continuous Improvement" Mindset: A commitment to quality, the ability to think independently, and a proactive approach to preventing problems before they hit the ledger.

• Education: High School Diploma (Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus).

Responsibilities

Core Functions & Essential Duties:

• The Three-Way Match & Audit: Perform rigorous audits between purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices. You’ll be the lead investigator in solving discrepancies regarding pricing, quantity, and GL accuracy.

• Financial Integrity: Prepare and post precise journal entries to the General Ledger. Your work ensures our financial reports reflect the true standing of the company.

• Strategic Disbursement: Coordinate the weekly cash disbursement schedule, ensuring the business captures every available discount while maintaining healthy vendor rapport.

• Corporate Governance: Enforce capital appropriation policies and approval limits. You will also manage tax exemption certifications to ensure total regulatory compliance.

• Analytics & Reporting: Analyze Year-to-Date (YTD) expenditures to support year-end audits and provide data-driven recommendations to the Procurement department.
