Facilities Maintenance Supervisor (Sterling Heights)

Pay Rate: $30-35/hr

Duration: 6-month contract + extensions/direct hire

Required Skills & Experience:

-3–5+ years of experience in: Manufacturing supervision Facilities, utilities, or plant infrastructure operations

-Experience leading hourly/union workforce in an automotive or industrial setting

-Strong understanding of: Industrial electrical systems HVAC and building systems

- Preventive maintenance practices

-Working knowledge of OSHA, environmental, and safety compliance

Job Description:

• Supervise and coordinate facilities operations including:
• Building systems (HVAC, compressed air, steam, water, chilled water) Electrical distribution (low and medium voltage)
• Plant utilities, lighting, roofing, and structural systems
• Ensure continuous availability and reliability of plant infrastructure to support production schedules
• Monitor facility performance metrics and respond to downtime, alarms, or system failures Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for facilities assets
• Partner with maintenance, controls, and reliability teams to improve asset uptime
• Support capital projects, facility upgrades, and equipment installations
• Track work orders, backlog, and maintenance KPIs using Ford CMMS systems

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
