Data Science and Machine Learning Associate

Akkodis is seeking a Data Science and Machine Learning Associate for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI(Hybrid). This role brings strong analytical skills with hands‑on experience evaluating used‑vehicle residual values and market trends, a key qualification for supporting business planning and risk management.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Science and Machine Learning Associate job responsibilities include:

• Analyze and model used‑vehicle residual values, auction prices, and key market drivers to support strategic planning.

• Develop forecasting models to assess future vehicle value trends and associated business risks.

• Build and maintain data analytics dashboards to deliver insights to sales, planning, and risk management teams.

• Utilize Python, GCP, and statistical methodologies to perform data extraction, transformation, and advanced analysis.

• Monitor market conditions in the used‑vehicle and auto industry to identify emerging trends and inform decision‑making.

• Present analytical findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders to support business and sales initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related quantitative field.

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis or forecasting; experience with the auto or used‑vehicle market preferred.

• Proficiency in Python, statistical modeling, forecasting techniques, and analytics dashboards.

• Hands‑on experience working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and analyzing market or auction data to support business decision‑making.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
