Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions (e.g., PLC, HMI, SCADA, robotics) for manufacturing processes.
• Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and industrial robots.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation system issues, including hardware, software, and network failures.
• Optimize existing automation processes to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to define requirements and integrate new technologies.
• Conduct FAT/SAT (Factory/Site Acceptance Testing) and commission new automation equipment and systems.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including electrical schematics, software code, and user manuals.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens), HMI development, and industrial robotics.
• Demonstrated experience with the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of industrial control systems.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and SCADA/MES integration.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Proven ability to analyze complex automation issues and implement effective solutions in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP integration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data analysis, reporting, or advanced automation tasks.
• Hands-on experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for quality control or guidance.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT) for OT data integration.
