Press Operators - 1st and 2nd Shift Openings
Hiring Multiple Candidates
1st Shift: 5am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday
2nd Shift: 3pm-1:30am Monday-Thursday
Weekend Shift Available!
Key Responsibilities
- Cover primary press operators during lunches and breaks
- Operate stamping presses while operators conduct quality inspections
- Load coils and verify picklists match coil tags
- Assist with die changeovers and equipment setup
- Clean scrap and prepare area for next production run
- Build boxes, paper skids, and support dunnage activities
- Pack and band parts securely using banding tools
- Perform first and last piece inspections and communicate die readiness
- Ensure correct packaging and piece counts on skids/containers
- Enter accurate production data into AX system
- Safely operate forklift to move boxes and pallets
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S standards
- Follow all quality standards, safety procedures, and work instructions
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Forklift license required
- Manufacturing or press experience preferred
- Ability to read work instructions and complete production documentation
- Strong attention to quality and detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Physical & Work Environment
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shift
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts
- Loud manufacturing environment
- Required to wear all PPE in production areas
