Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support its growing infusion operations on a contract, extendable basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys staying busy, and is comfortable handling, sterile spaces, call volume, and insurance-related tasks.
The Pharmacy Technician will support daily pharmacy and infusion operations while working closely with pharmacists and clinical staff to ensure patients receive timely, accurate, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Support pharmacists with daily pharmacy and infusion-related operations

Perform insurance verification and resolve coverage or authorization issues

Handle frequent phone communication with patients, providers, and internal teams

Assist with processing prescriptions and medication-related documentation

Maintain accuracy and compliance with pharmacy regulations and organizational policies

Skills and Requirements

Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Michigan

Minimum of 6 months of hospital/sterile compounding pharmacy experience

Minimum of 6 months of retail pharmacy experience

Experience with insurance verification

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Strong communication skills, including frequent phone-based interactions
