ResponsibilitiesClient Acquisition: Proactively identify and approach potential clients to discuss their commercial insurance needs.
Consultative Selling: Provide tailored solutions by understanding client requirements and recommending suitable insurance products.
Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
Market Research: Work alongside Commercial Account Managers to oversee the entire policy cycle from application to renewal, ensuring smooth transactions.
Networking: Build professional networks within the community to expand client base and enhance industry presence.
RequirementsLicensing: Active Michigan Property & Casualty License is preferred.
Education: College degree is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in commercial insurance sales or a similar field is desired.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Customer-Focused: Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building client relationships.
Sales Acumen: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Local Expertise: Familiarity with the East Lansing area and its business landscape is advantageous.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage a diverse client portfolio.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work closely with other members of the agency to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
