Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate
This role involves working with warehouse Team members on handling inbound and outbound shipments, as well as picking, packing, and preparing orders for timely delivery.
• Receive and process incoming shipments.
• Ability to perform quality checks on incoming shipments to identify damaged goods or discrepancies.
• Communicate with management related to missing, damaged, or incorrect incoming shipments.
• Update and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Process outgoing shipments and verify.
• Ability to pick, pack and fulfill orders with accuracy and security of contents.
• Ensure outgoing shipments are properly consolidated and correctly labeled.
• Assist in general warehouse duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Demonstrate creative thinking by suggesting alternative procedures to workflow and areas of improvement during team meetings. Qualifications:
• Strong work ethic.
• Team player.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Upbeat, dependable.
• Must be able to legally work in the United States.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent - GED
• Strong math skills, attention to details.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Previous experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Knowledge of cutting tools is a plus.
• Experience with shipping platforms (UPS/FedEx/USPS) is helpful.
• Hi-Lo/Forklift experience or willing to learn.
• Experience in working with inventory management software.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
