Salary Range: $43,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify product specifications.
• Interpret and apply engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and quality standards to assess product conformance.
• Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, including acceptance, rejection, and non-conformance data.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective action procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and quality management system procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
• Ability to read and accurately interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify visual and dimensional defects.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry, report generation, and using inspection software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMM programming (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, Polyworks).
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT).
• Advanced GD&T training or certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
• Experience with non-contact measurement systems (e.g., vision systems, laser scanners).
