Salary Range: $40,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up manufacturing equipment and machinery for production runs.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, dies, and molds to meet product specifications.
• Perform test runs and make precise adjustments to optimize machine performance and product quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance during setup to ensure equipment reliability.
• Document setup parameters, tooling changes, and operational adjustments accurately.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure setups meet quality standards and production schedules.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience in setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming or industrial automation systems.
• Demonstrated ability in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics, including CAD.
• Experience with tool and die work, machining, or fabricating custom fixtures.
