• Healthcare Setting: Short-Term Acute Care, Level 1 Trauma, Teaching Hospital
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing Contract)
• Start Date: September 2, 2025
• End Date: January 6, 2026
• Contract Duration: 18 weeks
• Nursing Shift: Nights, 4x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30)
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,840 - $1,890
• Patient Ratios: 1:4-6
• Scrub Color: Hunter Green
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Parking: Free with badge access

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license (required by start date; compact licenses not accepted)
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Experience with telemetry, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and dysrhythmia management
• Ability to float to all adult acute care and stepdown units
• Availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends per month
• Availability for 2 of 3 major holidays (including the day before and after)
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in Med/Surg Telemetry and stepdown units
• Monitor, interpret, and manage cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform wound care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and more)
• Float to various adult acute care units as needed
• Document patient care using Epic EMR
• Participate in rapid response and code situations
• Educate and support patients and families
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
