Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Maintenance Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of coffee machines in offices throughout NYC. You will start as a helper alongside a lead technician, and you will undergo an initial two-week training period in Garden City, NY. Post-training, you will receive a Metro card for NYC travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead technician in fixing coffee machines in various office locations in NYC.
• Perform plumbing and electrical tasks related to machine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and assemble mechanical parts using hand and power tools.
• Engage with customers professionally while servicing equipment.
• Repair and service coffee machines ensuring optimal functionality.

Essential Skills

• Experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
• Capability to lift 50lbs and read/write in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to learn and be trained.
• At least one year of experience handling hand tools.
• Soft skills such as work ethic, professionalism, and reliability are crucial.
• Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record.

Work Environment

This role involves field service work in various office settings within NYC. The initial two-week training will take place in Garden City, NY, accessible via train lines from NYC. Post-training, a Metro card will be provided for NYC travel. The role requires physical activity, including lifting up to 50lbs, and adherence to a professional dress code.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
