Salary Range: $43,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Conduct various quality tests using precision measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Document inspection results, non-conformances, and maintain accurate quality records and logs.
• Assist in investigating root causes of quality issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
• Initiate and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for defective materials or products.
• Verify calibration status and proper functioning of inspection and test equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and interpreting engineering drawings (blueprints) including GD&T.
• Solid understanding of quality control principles, methodologies (e.g., SPC, 5S), and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Experience conducting inspections, tests, and documenting results for manufactured products.
• Ability to identify non-conformances, assist in root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
• Familiarity with data collection and basic statistical analysis for process monitoring.
• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certification (e.g., CQT, CQIA)
• Experience with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Proficiency in CMM or vision system programming/operation
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles or methodologies
