Key Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and commission new robotic systems and peripherals.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on industrial robots.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues in robotic cells.
• Repair or replace defective robotic components, wiring, and end-effectors.
• Calibrate and program robot paths, sequences, and logic for manufacturing tasks.
• Monitor robot performance, make adjustments, and optimize for efficiency and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience with industrial robot programming, setup, and troubleshooting (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA).
• Proficiency in PLC programming and ladder logic troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including motor controls, sensors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robot simulation software (e.g., RoboGuide, Process Simulate)
• Familiarity with industrial vision systems and their integration
• Certification or advanced training on specific robot brands (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB)
• Basic CAD software proficiency for reviewing layouts or fixture designs
