Job Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment to manufacture components according to specifications and production schedules.
- Set up machines, load materials, and monitor operations to ensure proper performance and quality output.
- Inspect parts using gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify accuracy and consistency.
- Adjust machine settings as needed and report mechanical issues or defects to maintenance or supervision.
- Follow work orders, blueprints, and standard operating procedures to ensure correct product manufacturing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following company safety standards and PPE requirements.
- Record production data, complete required documentation, and communicate any issues to shift leaders.
- Assist with basic machine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills.
