Responsibilities:

As a Retail Running Shoe Sales Associate, you will be responsible for helping customers select running or walking shoes and related products, ensuring an optimal fit within their budget. Utilizing your knowledge and friendly demeanor, you will establish strong connections with customers, aiming to create a memorable shopping experience that encourages repeat business. Key responsibilities include responding to customer needs and inquiries, demonstrating excellent product knowledge, and presenting a friendly and professional demeanor.

Requirements:

• Passion for running, walking, health, and fitness
• Retail experience is a bonus, especially in specialty running, or apparel sales (but not mandatory)
• Understanding of sales principles and commitment to superior customer service
• Friendly and outgoing personality, dedicated to customer satisfaction
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, demonstrating multitasking skills with minimal supervision
• Physical dexterity for tasks such as unpacking shipments, arranging store fixtures, and lifting packages up to 50 lbs
• Associates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in using technology, including a PC and electronic cash register
