Youth Programming Generalist
Job Title: Youth Programming Generalist
Job Status: Part-time (up to 20 hours)
Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Youth Programming Generalist uses intermediate knowledge in youth development and community organizing to develop and implement engaging and empowering youth programming for assigned program area(s). The employee is responsible for curriculum development and execution, as well as recruiting and retaining active youth participants. Actively collaborates with other ACCESS programs and national institutions to support ACCESS youth strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee assigned youth program(s), including curriculum development, participant recruitment, enrollment, engagement, and follow-up
- Plan, execute and lead events and relevant programming for participants and alumni from ACCESS youth programming
- Working with the ACCESS Youth Advisory Council, support the planning and execution of ACCESS and its national institutions’ integrated youth strategy
- Intentionally connect participants and alumni of ACCESS youth programs to professional and leadership development opportunities including conferences, trainings, workshops, internships and job opportunities through community connections and partnerships
- Keep program participants engaged with ACCESS throughout program duration and after program ends
- May lead youth engagement strategies and programming at ACCESS events and convenings
- May share best practices for developing and implementing youth programming with other ACCESS program areas as well as NNAAC member organizations
- May be responsible for leading and/or supporting planning and execution of other national programs and events
- May coordinate with HR and other internal and external teams to support volunteer management
- Operate standard office equipment and use required software applications
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
- Minimum Degree Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Required Disciplines:
- Social Work, Education, Child Development, Psychology, Health and Human Services or related field

- At least two years of experience developing and executing youth programming, working in the field of advocacy, community organizing or engagement, volunteer management, or education, or any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training approved by Human Resources.

Working Conditions:
Hours: Normal business hours, some additional evening or weekend hours may be required.
Travel Required: Local, in-state, and national travel up to 30%
