Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Montague that are seeking skilled HR Generalists. Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly production and skilled trades positions.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA regulations.
• Administer HR policies and procedures, and facilitate new hire onboarding for manufacturing staff.
• Support workers' compensation claims management and promote a safe working environment.
• Process payroll changes, benefits administration, and maintain accurate HR records.
• Conduct HR investigations and advise management on disciplinary actions.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA) and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles.
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and conducting investigations.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and experience with payroll processing.
• Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and safety compliance in a plant environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience supporting a unionized workforce or familiarity with labor relations.
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
• Basic understanding of OSHA regulations and industrial safety best practices.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
