Book Production Assistant
The book production assistant supports the publishing process from manuscript to finished book by coordinating the following with the production team on the following tasks:
Check design changes
Book registrations
Client image audits
Quality checklists on cover and interior
Check print files prior to press
Coordinate ebook conversions
Printer template request
Job Skills
Must be Mac based and have Adobe subscription
Strong communication skills
Superior attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
This will be a freelance position with approximately 10-15 hours/week.
