About the Role:

We are looking for an innovative, self-starting individual who is interested in the fast-paced environment on the Global Engineering Finance Team. This position requires an individual who can work closely with engineering and financial professionals to ensure that spending objectives are executed. The ideal candidate will have prior finance experience including forecasting/budgeting and a strong technical accounting experience. This position is located in Saginaw, Michigan.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior FP&A Analyst , you will be responsible to:

• Prepare engineering accounting activities, which may include journal entries, processing purchase requisitions, engineering work orders and/or account reconciliations
• Assist in the development of global engineering forecasts and performance reporting
• Assist in global engineering spending analysis and other measurement analysis
• Provide transactional analytics in support of the global engineering results
• Support global engineering forecast submission
• Provide business support to global engineering leadership through data analysis and reporting activities

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Finance/Accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience using QAD software (preferred, but not required)
• Experience using Oracle software or Hyperion tools (preferred, but not required)
• Analytical background with complex problem-solving ability
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills via email or otherwise
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of colleagues across departments at the corporate office and internationally
• Time management and decision-making skills with minimal supervision

Education Requirements

• Bachelors required in Finance/Accounting/Business
