Server Assistant

Leila in Detroit is looking for Server Assistants!

Job Description:
We are currently seeking dedicated and professional individuals to join our team as Fine Dining Server Assistants. As a server assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests in a fine dining setting. Your primary responsibility will be to support the servers and ensure a smooth dining experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities:
- Assist servers in setting up tables, including arranging table settings, linens, and silverware
- Provide bread and water service to guests promptly
- Assist in taking food and beverage orders accurately
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Address guest inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly
- Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well within a team and take direction from servers and management
- Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and etiquette
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

- MUST be available Friday through Sunday
