Business Program and Project Management Specialist
Akkodis is seeking a Business Program and Project Management Specialist for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI(Hybrid). Candidates must bring expert project management skills to oversee project execution, manage stakeholders, and maintain comprehensive documentation to support successful delivery.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Business Program and Project Management Specialist job responsibilities include:
Coordinate and oversee multiple IT projects, ensuring efficient and timely execution across product development teams.
Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to align project objectives with organizational strategy and business priorities.
Ensure proper resource allocation and support project teams to maintain smooth project progression.
Track project performance using Jira and other reporting tools, creating dashboards and presenting updates to management.
Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on scope, schedule, and budget.
Maintain thorough project documentation to support governance, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience in IT with at least 5 years in project/program management roles.
Strong expertise in leading Agile software development and product development initiatives using tools like Jira.
Proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects, track performance, and create comprehensive documentation to support project processes.
