Business Program and Project Management Specialist

Akkodis is seeking a Business Program and Project Management Specialist for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI(Hybrid). Candidates must bring expert project management skills to oversee project execution, manage stakeholders, and maintain comprehensive documentation to support successful delivery.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Program and Project Management Specialist job responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and oversee multiple IT projects, ensuring efficient and timely execution across product development teams.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to align project objectives with organizational strategy and business priorities.

• Ensure proper resource allocation and support project teams to maintain smooth project progression.

• Track project performance using Jira and other reporting tools, creating dashboards and presenting updates to management.

• Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on scope, schedule, and budget.

• Maintain thorough project documentation to support governance, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 8+ years of experience in IT with at least 5 years in project/program management roles.

• Strong expertise in leading Agile software development and product development initiatives using tools like Jira.

• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects, track performance, and create comprehensive documentation to support project processes.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
