Irrigation Service Technician

Position Summary:

As an Irrigation Field Technician , you’ll play a direct role in protecting and enhancing residential and commercial properties throughout the Lansing area while earning $19–$27 per hour with a clear path for growth. Each day, you’ll manage a structured route, diagnose and repair irrigation systems, and represent a company that has been trusted since 1976. This is a hands-on, independent field role where your workmanship and professionalism directly impact customer loyalty and the company’s long-standing reputation.

What you’ll do:

• Diagnose and repair irrigation systems, including valves, heads, wiring, and controllers.
• Perform seasonal system startups, winterizations, inspections, and routine maintenance.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and completed work.
• Maintain organized service vehicles, accurate job notes, and proper documentation.
• Uphold Spartan Irrigation’s standards for quality workmanship, safety, and professionalism in every service call.

Requirements

• Experience: A strong knowledge of tools and a high mechanical aptitude.
• Mindset: A desire to perform quality workmanship and an eagerness to be trained.
• Requirements: Must be over the age of 21 with a clean driving record.
