Senior Sales Manager - Bulk Packaging - Michigan

George Thomas is working in close partnership with a key player in the Bulk Packaging industry, who are looking to hire a Sales Sales Manager to lead their growth, especially in the Automotive market.
This position is fully remote, but would have a strong preference for candidates based in, or open to relocating to Michigan.
A competitive salary + commission structure will be on offer.
Responsibilities
- Ability to identify, develop and convert new business opportunities whilst deepening existing customer relationships.
- Acquire an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s current products and services and new product lines and services as they are introduced.
- Ability to meet/ exceed sales goals.
- Obtain all relevant information needed to sell products through various sources and establish and maintain customer relationships.
- Leadership: coaching and mentoring more junior members of the sales team
Requirements
- A Degree in a business-related discipline is preferred.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the bulk packaging sector is preferred, particularly with a knowledge of the automotive market.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of new business development
- History of establishing and maintaining relationships with customers that translated into improved financial success and market share growth.
- Personable and presentable, with a competitive sales mindset
