Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, maintenance, and repair of metrology equipment and instruments.
• Conduct precision measurements of manufactured components and assemblies.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and conformance to engineering specifications.
• Document all measurement data, calibration records, and inspection reports.
• Analyze measurement results to identify trends, deviations, and support quality improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to measurement accuracy and equipment performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating and calibrating precision measurement equipment (e.g., CMMs, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators).
• Strong understanding and practical application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Experience with metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso) for data collection and analysis.
• Associate's degree in Metrology, Quality Assurance, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced CMM programming experience (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS)
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software or data analysis tools
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for model-based inspection
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements
