Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement strategies to minimize discrepancies and obsolescence.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse layout and storage strategies to optimize space utilization and workflow.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, implement and enforce safety procedures, and conduct regular safety audits.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff, setting performance expectations and conducting regular performance reviews.
• Manage and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring proper functioning and scheduling necessary maintenance.
• Develop and manage the warehouse budget, controlling costs and seeking opportunities for cost savings.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations and timely delivery of materials and finished goods.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems (WMS) and supply chain principles.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Proficiency in optimizing warehouse layout, workflow, and operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, and performance metric analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• - Proficiency in inventory optimization software and demand forecasting tools.
• - Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• - Certification in a relevant area such as APICS CSCP or CPIM.
• - Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers.
