Location: Lake Orion, Michigan (In-Person)
Salary: $85,000–$95,000 annually
Position Overview
The Director of Product is responsible for leading product strategy, development, and execution from concept through launch and ongoing optimization. This role serves as the central owner of the product roadmap, translating business objectives and customer needs into clear requirements and deliverable solutions.
This is a full-time, in-person leadership role based in Lake Orion, Michigan, working closely with engineering, design, operations, and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development, from ideation and planning through execution and release
- Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and priorities
- Gather and translate business, user, and market requirements into clear product specifications
- Partner closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to deliver high-quality products on time
- Own backlog management, feature prioritization, and release planning
- Ensure products align with business goals, customer experience standards, and technical constraints
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to inform improvements and iteration
- Drive cross-functional alignment and accountability across teams
- Document product requirements, workflows, and processes
- Support long-term product strategy and scalability planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Management, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7–10 years of experience in product management or product leadership roles
- Proven track record of leading product development in cross-functional environments
- Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution capability
- Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills
- Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable requirements
- Comfortable working in an in-person, collaborative environment
