JR. Human Resources Administrator
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Human Resources Coordinator to support various HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This role plays a critical part in the daily operations of the Human Resources Department , from recruiting and onboarding to benefits administration and employee engagement . The ideal candidate has a strong background in HR systems , employee data management , and compliance tracking , and is comfortable navigating fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of recruiting , including in-house hiring and managing the contingent workforce .
Verify and input employee time records to support accurate payroll processing .
Facilitate comprehensive onboarding processes for new hires, including paperwork and orientation.
Coordinate travel arrangements and process related credit card transactions .
Monitor and validate benefit billing for providers such as BCBS , Delta Dental , EyeMed , and UNUM .
Maintain accurate employee databases and manage HR communications .
Track employee attendance , PTO , and leave records to assist payroll accuracy .
Post job openings , schedule interviews , and coordinate with hiring managers.
Assist in 401(k) enrollment tracking, update employee organizational charts , and birthday trackers.
Handle onboarding and offboarding in systems like BenXpress , Encompix , DM Payroll , and Teams Import Tool .
Coordinate employee training programs , including JJ Keller training administration.
Organize and manage employee engagement initiatives such as events and milestone recognitions.
Review and approve invoices related to recruiting , background checks , safety compliance , and AOD (Attendance On Demand) systems.
Maintain organized HR document filing , including training records , performance reviews , and 401(k) communications .
Process updates to employee profiles , such as promotions , terminations , transfers , and compensation changes .
Submit and track IT support tickets for new software and hardware requests.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and actively identify areas for improvement.
Support the Quality Management System and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives .
Maintain regular and predictable attendance , a core requirement of this role.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or HR administration .
Strong understanding of HR systems , such as BenXpress , Encompix , and DM Payroll .
Experience coordinating 401(k) and benefits administration .
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite , HRIS platforms , and employee data management .
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks , prioritize deadlines, and support a cross-functional HR team .
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
