Business Development Representative

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and prospecting year-round.
  • Achieve sales targets by acquiring new commercial and industrial contracts for lawn maintenance and snow removal services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers and owners to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to support ongoing business growth.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with management and team members to support company goals and address client needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in the property maintenance or related industry.
  • Basic knowledge of lawn care and snow removal services.
  • Strong decision-making and closing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to meet business demands.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Burton, MI 48529 prior to starting work.

Compensation

$45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year (base salary plus commission)
