Cafeteria Server (part-time)
Are you an early bird looking for a part-time job with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere? Allegria Village, a senior living community in Dearborn, is hiring a Part-Time Café Associate to join our team at Windows Café , located in our Independent Living facility.
This role is perfect for high school students in a co-op program, retirees, or anyone looking to get out of the house a few mornings a week and be part of a supportive team.
Schedule:
Morning availability is a must!
Shifts are generally scheduled between 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM , including some weekends.
Pay:
$12.42/hour
What You’ll Do:
Help manage the daily café operations to ensure a warm, professional environment for residents and guests.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels while complying with health and safety guidelines.
Operate the POS system accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with POS systems (required)
Friendly customer service skills
Previous food service experience
Experience working with seniors is a plus!
