Travel Nursing Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2360–$2420
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (October 7, 2025 – January 6, 2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Operating Room, Level 1 Trauma Center
• Nursing Shifts: 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:00); night/day rotation available
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Call Requirements: Up to 4 weeknight and 3 weekend call shifts per 4-week schedule (8-hour blocks); 30-minute response time required
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Scrubs Provided
• Start Dates: 10/7/2025 (EPIC experience required), 10/20/2025, 10/21/2025

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license (required at time of application)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (1.5 years preferred)
• Strong clinical background in Thoracic, ENT, Neuro, and Oral surgery
• Hands-on experience with craniotomy for tumor, complex spine, LeFort osteotomies, and free flaps (free flap experience required)
• EPIC charting experience required for 10/7/2025 start date
• Two supervisory references required (one must be ANM, manager, lead, supervisor, or director)
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)

OR RN Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub in complex surgical cases, including neurosurgery, otolaryngology, oral maxillofacial, thoracic (excluding transplant), and spine (neuro and ortho)
• Deliver expert patient care in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma center
• Respond promptly to on-call shifts with a 30-minute response time
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including radiology, pharmacy, and interpretation services
• Ensure strict compliance with infection control, safety, and universal protocol procedures
• Operate advanced surgical equipment and technology, including Storz integration and Skytron systems
• Accurately document patient care using the EPIC electronic health record system
