They are looking to add a Safety Manager to their team who will be instrumental in fostering and ensuring a safe working environment for our employees, subcontractors, and partners while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. - Develop, implement, and oversee safety programs, procedures, and policies in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct jobsite safety audits, inspections, and hazard analyses for utility construction projects.
- Lead investigations on incidents, near misses, and injuries to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Provide classroom and field-based training on safety topics to employees and crews (small and large groups).
- Maintain all safety certifications, training records, and compliance documentation.
- **2–5 years of construction safety experience**.
- Safety certifications and/or formal safety education.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (no major infractions).
- Ability to successfully pass federally mandated drug and alcohol testing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
